EXO-K achieved first place on Gaonchart’s April album sales!

New groups EXO-K, EXO-M’s debut album “MAMA” has only been released for a month, and the sales have already exceeded 100,000 copies.

From when EXO’s first mini album MAMA was released on the 9th of April, up until the 9th of May, EXO-K’s korean version of the album reached sales of 71,473 copies, EXO-M’s chinese version 38,807 copies, the total sales resulted in 110,280 copies (broker firm’s statistics). Within only a month of the album’s release it’s exceeded sales of 100,000 copies, certifying their role as 2012’s top newcomer in activities.

It’s worth mentioning that, within the record market, being able to reach 100,000 album sales within just 1 month from debut, is really rare, allowing people to feel the burning care fans have towards EXO-K and EXO-M.

Furthermore, within April 10th’s Gaonchart EXO-K, beating many predecessors, resoundingly took first place, and EXO-M who are not promoting in Korea’s Chinese album has also taken 6th place, this really does make people feel that they have the momentum of “monster newcomers”

That aside, EXO-K will be participating in KBS’s “Music Bank” on the 11th, MBC’s “TV SHOW! Music Core” on the 12th, and on the 13th be participating in SBS’s “Inkigayo” music program, and yet at “2012 Dream Concert” on the 12th they will be displaying MAMA’s powerful charisma on stage.
