[FAN-ACCOUNT] 121013~14 EXO-M at KCON 2012 Concert & Fansigning Event

My KCON Experience/fanaccount: EXO M

So, Instead of writing down my whole KCON experience, I’m just going to mainly write about what it was like seeing EXO M, because, to be honest, the convention part was absolute madness and disorganization. To even get into the fan signings, you needed to have a voucher which you were supposed to get from staff members, however, my friends and I went up to some staff members who said they didn’t have any. Really now. And we tried to ask multiple staff members where to get them or how we can get into the fan signings, but they seemed to have no clue either. Maybe only 1-2% of KCON attendees got into the fan signings, due to the disorganization. Because my friends and I and mainly everyone else there were trying to figure out how to get into the damn fan signings, we spent most of the very confused and just walking around trying to get some kind of correct information! We didn’t even have any time to see any of the workshops. We did briefly see Simon and Martina at their Q&A(?) I’m not sure if that’s what it was, but we did see them there~

Ok, now to the good stuff. EXO M and the concert. Like I said, due to the disorganization, my friends and I couldn’t get into the fan signing for EXO M, HOWEVER, my friend Sam (holyxkrisus) and I did manage to get VERY close to them! We were on the railings at the side of them. It was a crazy scene around their fan signing as fans were pushing and shoving and not listening to staff. But when EXO M came out, screaming, screaming and more screaming~ And let me tell you something, you have not seen perfection, until you see EXO M in person. OH. MY. GOD. THEY ARE FREAKING GORGEOUS!!!! They are tall and handsome. Like, I can’t even describe to you how perfect they are. I could see Tao and Chen the best. Tao is TALLLL. And his eyes are intense. If that makes sense. Like kind of a serious look, but when he smiles, he looks very kind. Chen has a perfect jawline ok? Like adhasjghsag and his smile is perfect~ He was also the first to notice all of us fans on the railings and waved at us! Lay was smiley and I’m sure we all fell in love with him and his dimple. lol I couldn’t really see Luhan, Xiumin or Kris very well, except for when they walked in and out. Kris is freaking tall man. Like damn. And his face really IS perfect. So was his hair. All of us on the railings were yelling out Tao’s name and waving to him and he noticed us and waved to us. So precious~ Due to everyone screaming, this includes me too, it was hard to hear what they were saying, but you could tell who was who when they were talking. kris’ voice is deep and smooth like silk. (Did I really just write that) It’s very manly is what I mean. lol After their fan signing, they went over to another area so everyone could take pictures of them. It was crazy with people so it was hard to see them there, but my friend Sam got some really nice pictures of them so yay~ I thought my day was pretty much made, after seeing EXO M up close, but I was wrong. The concert was just as amazing.

The concert more than made up for the crappy convention. It was BEAUTIFUL really. All of the groups REALLY know how to put on a performance and make you feel special. B.A.P, G.NA, NU’EST and VIXX all did 3 songs each. EXO M performed ‘History’, ‘Into Your World (Angel), ‘What is Love’, and ‘MAMA’ in that order and 4minute performed 5 songs. Ok. Ok. Ok. EVERYONE WENT INSANE WHEN EXO M CAME OUT!!! I have never heard so much screaming (me included) for any of the other groups!! THEY WERE AMAZING. Simply AMAZING. Their self introduction was perfect and cute and kris gets the golden ‘you tried’ star for his attempt at aegyo. ajhwukh IT WAS PRECIOUS IF YOU ASK ME!!! I am SO glad that I got to see Kris’ aegyo live and in person. They had a video play of fans asking questions and we (the audience) got to choose which question we wanted them to answer. The winner (of course) was “Can Kris show us aegyo?” At first, only Tao and Xiumin did aegyo but then EVERYONE started chanting “KRIS! KRIS! KRIS!” and he like didn’t know what to do. lololol He asked us what we wanted to see and everyone said “buing! buing!” He asked us if we could keep this a secret. Maybe next time kris. Maybe next time. But it was ADORABLE!! And so were the other members aegyo~ ^^ It was a really special experience to see them perform live. When you’ve watched all their interviews, know every song, have all the posters/albums, watched all of their live performances, it’s really something special to see them LIVE instead of from a computer screen. It made all of us EXOtics feel really special~ I will be forever grateful for this experience I had at KCON and I have even more love for EXO (if that’s even possible) I will always be supporting EXO M and EXO K and I hope that I get to see them again at a future concert. They are very special. EXO FIGHTING!!!!

So there you go, that was my poor attempt at writing my own personal experience. i skipped a lot and left a lot out because I would be sitting here all day.

We stood by the front of that line (not part of the line, just standing outside of it) and then I see EXO M coming in and I’m like jumping and screaming and I see Chen! And I wave Hi to him and I swear he waves back xD I turn around and this lady is talking to Mimi (I’m right next to her) and she’s a staff lady (she’s wearing a pink shirt) and she’s saying “I only have three vouchers left” and these girls from behind try to snatch them from her but the staff lady is quick and she reflexively pulls her hands away. The lady then hands a voucher to Mimi and then ONE TO ME HOLEY FFFFUUUUUUUUQKKCKAKSDJ I HAVE AN EXO M SIGNING VOUCHER IN MY HANDS OHHHHHMYYYYGODDDDD LAJDFLAA ALKJA I COULDN’T EVEN I WAS A BLUBBERING THING AT THAT POINT. Mimi held me by the shoulders. She said to me “Dude, we got vouchers. We got vouchers! We have to go! GO! We have to get in line!!” I snapped back to my senses and freaken RAN to find the line. I had to go around the crowd and then THROUGH THAT SHIT. I maneuvered my way through, Mimi held onto my backpack behind me. I said “Hey! I have a voucher. Can I get through please?” I said excuse me constantly of course. I’m not rude ya know. I kept grabbing for my poster that stuck out of my backpack constantly to make sure I still had it in there. I showed the voucher to the staff and she unlocked the roping of the line and let me and Mimi in.

HOLEYSHIT WE WERE IN THE FANSIGN LINE. I looked around at Mimi and then I noticed the girls that were crowded around us, the sadness in their eyes. I kept freaking out asking Mimi if this is really happening… that we really had vouchers in our hands right now. Some of them were saying “You’re so lucky!” “Have fun!” These two girls asked me and Mimi to take their cameras and take pictures of EXO M for them. We gladly obliged, exchanged numbers, and safely held onto their cameras. I even thought to ask them who their favorites were so I would be sure to take pics of their biases. My sister was ahead of me so she was about to go up and get her stuff signed when I was still in line. She turned around and made a “OMG I’M ABOUT TO GO UP NOW JESUS TAKE THE WHEEL” face to me. In line, we saw Bonnie (she was under the tent though) and she was sad also to see that we got vouchers. I took her camera so I could take pictures for her too. She thanked me profusely, I knew her favorite was Luhan. I remembered she showed me her phone background way back in the summer. Our friend Joseph showed up behind us in line. He told us that he found his EXO M voucher in a mens’ restroom. LIKE WOW. Such a loss to the person who dropped his voucher (or it could’ve even been a staff person, who knows?) but quite lucky for our friend Joseph. I was near the front (where I would step up some stairs and then be in front of Kris) AND the staff was telling us to turn off our cameras!! I was heartbroken! I had the cameras of these girls and I wasn’t allowed to take pics?? I remembered reading that KCON allowed people to take pictures but we just couldn’t take pictures of ourselves with the idols (because of safety concerns, yes that much I understand).

I turned them off in front of the staff but after they let me pass and I was now at the foot of the steps, I turned them back on. The DJ then started playing “History”. I saw Lay stand up when the words started and he started dancing some of the choreo and then Luhan joined in! The crowd under the tent was screaming sooo loud! The staff had to hold their hands over their ears. They were kind of distracted so I took some pics as I was going up the steps. I only got side profile views of Kris, Lay, and Luhan though. I had to turn them off when I was finally up on the platform. I took a sweeping look at all of them. Wow, they were glowing to me. SOOOOO FLAWLESS!!! Mygod… The girl in front of me moved up some.

I unrolled my poster in front of Kris. He took it with a smile. OMG IT WAS SO HARD TO LOOK AT HIM. He is flippin gorgeous. His eyes are big! And so are his hands. I couldn’t bare to face him, sigh, so I ended up watching his hands sign my poster. He gave me back the poster and said “Thank you” and I said “Thank you” back. The girl in front me wasn’t moving to Lay, who sat next to Kris, she kept looking at Kris and was crying. ;____; I guessed that Kris was her bias and that she was just overwhelmed with meeting him face-to-face. She handed Lay her thing (I forgot if it was a shirt.. or a lightstick?) and Lay told her “Don’t cry” in English with a sweet, soft voice but I heard him. IT WAS SOOOO SWEEET. I almost said “Aww” outloud >.< The girl nodded and Lay gave her a smile. His dimple is amazing wow. Kris was standing up to speak and I turned to see the crowd. WOW EVEN I FELT OVERWHELMED BY THE CROWD and that’s when my ears actually picked up the screams. There were so many people and all I saw were cameras!! I was thinking “Oh should I bend down so the fans can see him?” I sort of crouched, not much though. I turned back to see Kris standing up telling the fans “To be safe and careful”.

I was looking back at the crowd and I looked at Lay. He looked unsure at first (because I was crouching? OTL), but then he smiled. DIMPLE FEELS UGGHHHH. I walked up to him and handed him my poster. He signed it and said “Thank you”. Then I made a heart sign and then he smiled where the whites of his eyes go away and then he made a heart sign back to me. Alkdjflkakj Lay’s eyes were really twinkly. I didn’t feel too intimidated like I was with Kris so I could actually look into them. And after his comforting words for that girl, he seemed so friendly and sweet. His smile seems sincere too.

I was now in front of Luhan. His looks are surreal. So very doll-like, so flawless. Perfect skin with big eyes. I handed him my poster. While he was signing, I said “Hi Luhan.” He said “Ni hao” back. I died a bit inside. Luhan didn’t hand me back my poster, instead he slides it over to Xiumin. I count that as a Xiuhan moment yes. I didn’t interact with Xiumin much, he signs it and says “Thank you.” His eyes are also very twinkly and in person, his face doesn’t seem as round as everyone says (or maybe I just imagined it to be rounder idk).

OK MOMENT OF TRUTH (FOR ME ANYWAYS), and not necessarily truth.. something more like “the moment that I have been waiting for”. I WAS IN FRONT OF CHEN. I WAS IN FRONT OF KIM JONGDAE. CHEN GAIZE. CHENNNN. KIM JONGDAE. MY FUQN BIAS. I couldn’t take my eyes off him. His cheekbones are more amazing up close ohdeargawd. He kept smiling the whole time. His smile makes you want to smile gosh~~ He signed my poster and as he was sliding it to Tao. I stood back a little and showed him my shirt. I was wearing a shirt with his scorpion insignia from the ‘Mama’ mv and I said “Look! It’s your sign, I’m wearing it” And he looked at it with a curious face then his face broke into a smile, he said “Oh~” and I took a step towards him and he held up his right fist showing his scorpion ring to me. I laughed and touched it and he laughed!!!! I MADE CHEN LAUGH ERRMAHHGERRRRDDDDD XDDD And then I fist-bumped (knuckle-touched, whatever sounds more appropriate) him. LAKJDSF;LAKJDSFKJADKDKDKDAKSSASDDKFJJFD THE BEST MOMENT OF KCON FOR ME TBH I waved goodbye to him as I went to stand in front of Tao.

Tao signed my poster and then said “Xie Xie”. Then I was escorted off the platform, out of the tent, back into the reality of KCON. I was still like woozy and my knees actually felt weak. Wow, I’ve never felt like that before. Mimi was already walking past me and she was behind me! She says “Hurry up Melody!” I said “Mimi… did.. did that just happen? Did.. Did I—did we just.. what.. Was that reality just now..? I—I can’t even… What..?”

The crowd of people that were standing outside were watching my reactions. A girl asked “How was it? How are they?!” I just said “Good, they’re really handsome and nice.” A girl asked “How’s Luhan?” Mimi said “He’s sexy!” And the girl replied, “Of course!!” I met up with my sister and Lee and we were all in a daze. My sister told me that she fist-bumped all of EXO M (except Kris) and I told her I only did it to Chen because he’s special to me. I was impressed by her nerve though! She told me about her Xiumin moment (which you can read about here!) After my initial state of shock after just having met EXO M and getting to be a part of their fansigning, we saw Brandon! We told him about our EXO M feelsss and he wanted a 4minute voucher and merch. We returned the cameras to the girls and we waited near the blue screen in the back of the fansign tent to try and get another glimpse of EXO M but it was crowded and I was still in lala land so we went to sit down on the grass.

EXO-M Autograph Session Fanaccount 121013

I’m sorry if the events seem out of order…. I’m typing it as I remember it. :P

It was already like… 2:30 at this point so we decided to go see the Youtube panel since it was going to start pretty soon. So I got to see JKFilms, David So, and Eatyourkimchi. I realized I had to get to the EXO-M fansigning early if I want a good spot to see them. SO I left the youtube panel to get to EXO-M. And I DID get a good spot (keep in mind there’s a gazillion ppl here): I was at under the tent still, BUT I was towards the middle to the right side. LIke…If I were to one more step to my right, I would end up in the little pathway to get to the stage for the fansign. The pathway with the red rope thingys on the side. So i was basically touching the red rope thingys. But there was this really tall white woman in front of me (probably… 5’9-5’11) with a big guild (not fat, just literally a big guild). No racism intended.

The fansigning almost got cancelled because people kept pushing and shoving and running. :/ ANYWAY….when EXO-M came out…. I freaken LOST my mind. seeing them so close in the flesh…. I just lost it. I screamed my head off. Tao in real life…. he is so much more gorgeous. I seriously am NOT exaggerating when I say this. He is sooo much more gorgeous. Kris….was of course Kris so he was already gorgeous. Luhan didn’t look as feminine as I thought he’d be. O__O I couldn’t really see the others; so I can’t really give my impressions. I still saw them, but only glimpses though; not enough to give an impression on. But Tao really stuck out to me. Kris was really open today…. like he was conversing with us a lot. Like when Tao was asked a question, he replied in Chinese then the fans started screaming. Kris was like, “You guys can understand Chinese? Ok fine I’ll speak in Chinese then.” (I thought he was teaching us Chinese phrases xD but then i read other fan accounts and he was actually just trolling~) Then towards the beginning he was like, “Are you guys hot?” and of course we were literally screaming yes, so he was like, “Well, we’re hotter.” And at some point, the fans (including myself) were shouting “WE ARE ONE” to them. According to another fanaccount I read, that actually made the boys smile :’) THEN they started chanting TAORIS. I was just like…. O_____O and didn’t join in. I thought it was funny though xD idk how they reacted to that. And when the MC was trying to make the fans step back, they didn’t. So Kris told them to step back saying something like, “We love and care about you guys; so please step back for the safety of others; we care about your safety too” SOMETHING LIKE THAT. He also asked how the fans are in the back. It was really nice of him to do that Kris also said we’re the best fans :’D

They said so many other things but I forgot a lot of it and at some point, i just seriously CANNOT hear what they’re saying because they’d try to talk over the fans who were screaming their lungs off (which isn’t really working). FOR ex: after Tao introduces himself, there would be screaming, but then before the screaming can die down, Xiumin’s already doing his introduction. This happened A LOT during the fansigning AND the concert. T___T Oh and I do remember Lay saying he wants to celebrate his next birthday in LA. :D

They seemed more happier today in general. Everyone was literally all smiles. Even Lay (who claims he doesn’t have a lot of expressions) was all smiles. No one looked like they were faking it. On Friday, when they landed, I saw them all tired and stuff.I mean SURE they were smiling at the fans who greeted them. Now compare that smile to today’s smile. Even when they were at the Incheon airport they looked hella tired. But I’m happy they were here :’)

Oh and Kris’s accent seems to have disappeared. I’m not saying he has a really noticeable accent, but if you listen to the SMTOWN Press Con. and today’s answers you’d hear a bit of differences. When he was doing the press conference for SMTOWN back in May, he seemed to have a bit of an accent when he answered the question and he seemed nervous when he was introducing the band during the actual concert. Well… maybe not nervous but he was pretty uptight. Today though, he was trolling and being such a tease. And his accent disappeared O__O He was also thoughtful to those who can’t see them. Like how during the press conference, they answered the questions standing up, they stepped forward a bit during the concert, and how Kris kept asking about the people in the back in both the autograph session and concert.

THIS WAS MY FIRST CONCERT and maybe my last concert OTL.

EXO-M,VIXX,4MINUTE,G.NA,NU'EST, and B.A.P are the first EVER KPOP idol i ever met in real life.

So, here is my fanaccount of EXO-M, i did not get an autograph voucher for exo-m which sucks because the staff decided to pass them out randomly. I only got a voucer for VIXX. THEY WERE SUPER SUPER NICE. (if you wanna know my VIXX FANACCOUNT message me ^^~) So my friend and I went to the photo session area behind the Autograph tent which was REALLY PACKED. There were a lot of fans, and all the fans outside waiting for EXO-M to come out for pictures were waiting for like 30-50mins. It was so humid and sweaty in the crowd. BEING SHORT-ISH,(13 y/o @ 5'2) i couldn't see that much unless i stood on my tippy toes, which was not easy obviously with so much people. But EXO-M finally came out everyone was screaming at the top of their lungs i saw each and everyone of their BEAUTIFUL FACES. omfg. it was flawless. (to me) it was hard getting pictures but omg they kept smiling and bowing and waving. Tao did some fanservice which was awesome!

I got pretty good pictures but i didn't see that good because of dozen of heads in front of me OTL.

NOW AT THE CONCERT WAS THE BEST. OMFG.
my seats was the most perfect seat anyone could ever had. my friends and I had seats in ORCH. 1. we thought our seats were much further but turns out it was much much closer then we thought. we were so happy. we sat through the concert screaming out lungs out. But then I noticed something. OUR SEATS WERE RIGHT NEXT TO THE SIDE ENTRANCE OF THE BACKSTAGE. i was like "omg best seat ever i don't VIP PIT!!! " my friends and I were super lucky we saw idols walking back and forth. Lucky for us, i had a glow bow headband and my friend had a glowstick, THIS HELPED US get the attention of the idols. First, idol we saw backstage were VIXX, they were so nice smiling and waving at us, then I SPOTTED THE BACK OF LUHAN'S HEAD I WAS SCREAMING SO LOUD! "LUHAN LUHAN I LOVE YOU LUHANNNN!!! and he turned around and starting smiling and waving. Then, EXO-M went on to perform. They were incredible. They sang HISTORY( omfg i saw exo-m shake their pantsss!!!) Then they sang ANGEL, THAT WAS SO BEAUTIFULM,AFTER...LUHAN AND CHEN SANG WHAT IT LOVE. I SCREAMED SO LOUD. Their voice were beautiful! It was amazing.Then they sang MAMA where everyone went crazy for. AFTER. EXO-M had their little interview. FREAKING KRIS, TAO,AND XIUMIN'S AEGYO. I couldn't believe i saw them do it. it was so cute!
Later on near the end of the concert, through the side entrance to the backstage I SAW BRIAN JOO. LIKE, I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW HE WAS AT KCON! only me and this other girl got to say hi to him because he was busy sort of. Later, we saw NU'EST omg, they were adorable especially Ren he kept doing hearts at us. of course i did it back and he did a thumbs up at me! lol THEN THE MOMENT MY FRIENDS AND I WERE WAITING FOR. EXO-M were just chilling back stage and then my friends and I started screaming TAO'S NAME!! he was like laughing at us and smiling and waving. we were so happy i kept doing hearts at him and he did a thumbs up at us!! Then Luhan came by and saw us. He did a heart at us and we did it back and he just waved.THEN KRIS. OMFG. He came by and was waving and laughing. I did my hearts at him and he did a thumbs up at me and i started screaming so much. he just stood there laughing. LOL.
At the end when the concert ended, all the idols came out to bow and stuff. this is when fanservice for the whole crowd started. THE IDOLS WERE ALL SO CUTE I SWEAR! I THINK! I THINK! I AM NOT SURE. but i think tao threw LUHAN's Donald Duck into the crowd. i think it is luhan because i saw him holding it backstage and waving it to us. LOL but Tao kept his panda ahah.
And thats basicly how crazy KCON was for me. The best experience ever in my life. Still so sad that i didn't get a voucher to meet exo-m face to face but the seats next to the backstage made up for it all.
