Xiumin Birthday Project

We at kim-minseok.com will be helping Black Rouge with their birthday collections. While we’ll be sending our own gift from kim-minseok.com, we are also going to be taking letters to Xiumin from English speaking fans!

We want to show him just how loved he is in all countries! So if you are unable to personally mail a letter to Black Rouge to give to him, we are offering to do that for you!

What it is

Write a letter to Xiumin telling him happy birthday and anything else you want to say! It can be as short or long as you want, the point is the more he gets, the better it will be!

Letters should be in Korean, Pinyin or English. Even if he doesn’t understand everything you’re saying in it, he’ll get that it’s some well wishes for his birthday. You can also include a couple phrases in your own native languages (such as if you’re French, you can say “happy birthday” in French, or Tagalog if you’re Filipino, or any other native language. You can also say things like “I love you” in you’re own language and anything that you can tell me what they say if I ask).

Here are few Korean phrases you can include as well! If you have any short sentences you would like me to translate into Korean for you, feel free to ask and I will try, but I can not promise I can translate everything!

생일 축하합니다! (Happy Birthday!)

안녕하세요! (Hello!)

잘 지내셨어요? (How are you?)

저는 ____이에요 (My name is ___ -fill in the blank with your name-)

저는 ___에서 살아요 (I live in -fill in your country. I will translate the country name for you if you don’t know it in Korean-)

나는 네가 참 자랑스럽다! (I am so proud of you!)

당신을 곧 뵙길 바랍니다! (I hope to see you soon!)

보고싶어! (I miss you!)

사랑해요! (I love you!)

Here are a few points to keep in mind when writing your letter:

- Can be as short or long as you want.

- If he’s your favorite member, say so! If he’s not, then don’t say otherwise, he doesn’t need to hear who your favorite is ^^

- Leave all ships/pairings out. This is about him, not anyone he’s close to.

- Please do not criticize him. Calling him baozi and cute is good, calling him chubby is not!

Please be sure to sign your letter with your name and location!

How to send the letter:

- email your letter to kim.minseok0326@gmail.com

- Email Subject: Xiumin’s Birthday Letter

- You can just put it in the body of the letter or attach it as any Word 2010 compatible document if you used any special formatting or fonts.

- (if you used any special fonts, please tell me so I can make sure I have them installed)

- After I have read the letter, I will email you back letting you know it was received.

Deadline: All letters must be emailed by February 15th! I will ship on the 16th, so anything received after will not be delivered!

What I will do:

I will print every letter on a seperate piece of paper and pack them with kim-minseok.com’s birthday gifts to give to him. Your letter will not be directly related to kim-minseok.com - we’re all just working together to make sure Xiumin knows how much we love him!

Please tell all your friends and even if you’re not biased towards Xiumin -we want your letter! If you’ve ever had even a single moment where you looked at Xiumin and thought he seems really great, us Xiumin fans would really appreciate it if you could let him know. We want him to know just how loved he is all around the world.
