In Chinese, 88 can be used a slang meaning 'Bye Bye'
88 means Heil Hitler [HH=88], the Nazi Dictator
88 also means the two parallel universes that move in different direction. This coincide with EXO concepts of the two worlds.
THE FIFTH CODE: The intentional wrong spelling of Luhan's Nickname
Luhan has the nickname of Xiao Lu, 小鹿, or the little deer
However, in the teaser, it was written as 'Xia Lu'
The word 'Xia' as pinyin can mean "吓" meaning frightened/scared and
"瞎" meaning to be blind
If we combined the two characters, Luhan's nickname means the scared Lu and the blind Lu.
In EXO's teaser, Luhan's eyes were closed. He was also the only one wearing white snapback, where white represents the innocent victim.
THE SIXTH CODE: 88
As you guys should have known by now, EXO’s 1st full album is going to be titled ‘XOXO’ (Kiss & Hug) and in one of the new pictures, they were wearing in hip hop style and the number ‘88’ were on their tops.

 

I was curious why it is the number ‘88’ and I did a little search and found out that the number ‘88’ is actually used in morse code and amateur radio users to mean ‘hugs and kisses’.
THE SEVENTH CODE: Butterfly

While I was doing a little research about the number ‘88’ on EXO’s tops, I found out something as well. There’s actually two species of butterflies in the world called ‘eighty-eights’ because of the markings on their wings that looks like the number ‘88’, namely ‘Diaethria’ and ‘Callicore’.  

Since there were two kinds of such butterflies, I was thinking maybe SM would incorporate it into their concept, making the butterflies represent EXO-K and EXO-M.
And then I remembered that one of EXO’s rumoured new songs is called ‘Butterfly’.
