To the best dancer in all of EXO, today is your very special day.

Our dearest Jongdae, more popularly known as Chen was born today; 22 years ago to be exact. He is the main vocalist of EXO-M, and quite possibly the best vocalist in all of EXO. But despite his uncanny ability to sing very well, he is one of the most underrated members.

Fans speculate that because he was put into EXO-M with a limited grasp of Mandarin, he wasn’t able to show off his charisma and charm unlike the other members. Hence he was left in the shadows. But as seen through his interviews and interactions with fans, Chen is probably one of the nicest and most approachable member. Aside from being the friendliest of the bunch, he’s also one of EXO’s biggest trolls. He loves being silly, joke around and prank his fellow members. He is tagged as EXO’s worst dancer, thus earning the nickname 'Dancing Machine'; but he hopes to hone his skills in dancing in the future.

For wanting to learn how to speak Mandarin fluently for your Chinese fans, for being so thoughtful regardless of how forgetful you are, for practicing your singing and dancing skills all for your fans. Thank you Chen, for taking care of EXO. For adoring Kris' handsome face, for admiring Tao's humbleness and wanting to be like him, for making the boys happy with your jokes, for treating everyone as your family; your home.

Thank you Chen, for loving us, your ultimate fans. For treating us very well, for trying to be the best in giving fan services, for looking out for us, for giving us the chance to know you. For giving us the chance to love you. And ultimately, thank you Chen, for being you. For being considerate, for making the impossible things possible, for being the best that you can be.

You were born a star, and in our eyes, you will always be.
