The collaborative movie starring EXO’s D.O.
and talented actor Jo Jung-suk, “Anohi, Aniki ga Tomoshita Hikari (My Annoying
Brother)” will finally be in Japanese cinemas on May 19th (Friday). The main
cast’s comment video from the film's media premiere on November 15, 2016, and a
music video for the ending theme sung by D.O. and Jung-suk (with Japanese
subtitles) have been released.
The comment video shows
their close connection, which resembles the characters’ relationship in the
movie, and sets off the anticipation even more. In addition, the music video
for “Shinpai Shinaide Kudasai, Anata (Don’t Worry)” by D.O. and Jo Jung-suk has
been revealed for the first time in Japan. This song is a message from
Doo-young, the younger brother, to his older brother, Doo-shik. They accomplished
the director’s wish by emotionally singing as Doo-young and Doo-shik, not as
D.O. and Jo Jung-suk.
D.O. also commented,
“Finally, I thought of how much of a synergistic effect the song would cause if
my hyung’s voice and my voice echoed together. Jung-suk-hyung is very good at
singing, so I always thought it would be great if we sang together.” In return,
Jo Jung-suk commented, “D.O. sang as the true Doo-young himself, and I sang as
Doo-shik together with him. It was an indescribable experience.”
