This day is a very special day to many of us, it's not just another day of the year, it's also the day that our very own source of joy is born.

Kim Minseok has always been a little behind the limelight. However, despite that, he continues to do his very best. He perseveres towards his dream, smiling with each accomplishment. He continues to show us what he's made of and little by little, he creeps into our hearts; slowly but surely. 

He's a joy giver, a peacemaker and a real entertainer. He does his absolute best for us fans, never letting us down, always making us proud. He takes things in his stride and always keeps his positivity up. He accepts criticisms thrown at him with a smile that hardly falters; the smile that we all have come to love. 

Because Minseok is always so cheerful, we often dismiss the fact that he too would have his down days. After all, he's human like the rest of us. But even so, he conceals his sadness with a smile. A smile that seems to say “everything is fine”.

Happy birthday, Kim Minseok. You may not be aware, but to us exo fans, you are perfect, just the way you are. Your persistence, your gentleness, your courage, we see it all. You're a real source of strength and inspiration that we all look up to. Thank you for being born, thank you for being our light, thank you for giving us yet another reason to smile, most of all, thank you for being you.
