[ARTICLE/REVIEW] 08.24.13 EXO's Growl MV (One Take, Dance Only, 2nd Version) + Ghost sightings + Photos/Videos

SMTown is known for releasing music videos that teased our imagination. One of the most recent ones is EXO's Growl which garnered much love from both fans and netizens alike, and received over 12 million Youtube hits in the span of 3 weeks; Korean and Chinese Versions combined. 

The first release was the one take version. It was received with great applaud and attention, not only for it's unique concept but also because of the alleged 'Ghost' sightings in the video.

The alleged ghost sighting that gained much attention. Around 1:10 - 1:19, Korean Version.

The Growl one take music video was filmed in Shindongshin Industrial High School. It is located within Seoul, South Korea and is considered as one of the scariest schools in town. It was rumored that three students committed suicide there due to bullying.

This rumor spread like wildfire causing a stir of concern among fans. Many freaked out at how this was noticed, and concluded as to being the reason why the MV was filmed in just one take.

Apparently, SM was urged to use the warehouse thinking it was a nice place for the MV unaware of the history and reputation of the school. So it was mainly opened for the filming. Rumors circulated, saying that it was opened for the first time in 7 years.

Not long after, Baekhyun revealed that it was only one of their staff members who was in-charge of the lightings and forgot to hide. This lessened, if not permanently stopped the circulating ghost rumors of the music video.

2 weeks after the release of the one take music video, SMTown further thrilled the fans releasing both Korean and Chinese Versions of Growl dance only version.

And just this week, after the Naver Starcast 'Midsummer Night's Growl' event, the 2nd version video of Growl was finally released!

In just 3 days, it gained almost 2 million hits from Youtube (Korean and Chinese Version combined), establishing EXO as one of the hottest Kpop stars to date!

I think all 3 music videos have its own charms, I salute EXO, the SM staff and SMTown for their numerous efforts just to bring us the best. I have nothing left to say or comment, the videos speak for themselves. I rate all these: 5 stars! ☆☆☆☆☆
